Huckleberry Picking

Its Huckleberry season! So we went up to Huckleberry Mountain with our friends and spent the afternoon gathering Huckleberries. The kids always have so much fun helping us pick the berries. When we got home we washed them and laid them out on a cookie sheet to freeze. The next day we topped them on our vanilla ice cream to have Huckleberry ice cream. It was delicious! I especially like the Huckleberries warmed up first, then put on the ice cream
