The Friends of NRA Banquet we held in Coeur d’Alene last night went pretty well. Not as well as some of our previous banquets, but alot of it had to do with us getting a new NRA field rep in the middle of things. So we weren’t as organized as we have been in the past.
I talked with the new field rep. Pretty good guy. He’s reformed with 6 kids, and part of the Christ’s Church outfit coming out of Spokane. First time that I’ve been to the banquet, where the field rep asked everyone to remove their hats, and led us in prayer before eating and saying the pledge of allegiance. So that was encouraging.
It was a big honor having the president of the NRA attend. A really neat guy. He complimented me on my chops. So I know I’m doing something right. 
I didn’t win any guns this year, again. So here’s to next year!
We presented him with a Welcome Poster and we all signed it. He’s gonna hang it in his basement above his reloading bench.
